As we enter a new phase of accelerated growth, business development plays a central role in identifying and executing strategic opportunities that expand market reach, unlock new revenue streams, and strengthen competitive positioning. The Vice President of Business Development will lead global partnership strategy, strategic deal-making, and ecosystem development, serving as a key driver of enterprise growth.
This role requires a leader with deep experience in enterprise technology partnerships, complex deal structuring, and global market expansion, combined with the ability to operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and relationship management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and execute a global business development strategy aligned with enterprise growth objectives and market expansion priorities.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures that drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Lead complex deal negotiations, including commercial agreements, partnership structures, and long-term strategic contracts.
- Build and manage relationships with enterprise clients, technology partners, hyperscalers, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Develop new revenue streams through channel partnerships, platform integrations, and co-innovation initiatives.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align partnership opportunities with product strategy and roadmap development.
- Drive global expansion efforts, including entry into new markets, verticals, and geographies.
- Establish and optimize partnership frameworks, including governance models, performance metrics, and value realization tracking.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment between partnerships and go-to-market execution.
- Provide strategic insights into the competitive landscape, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Support M&A initiatives related to strategic growth, partnerships, and market consolidation.
- Build and lead a high-performing business development team focused on strategic impact and execution excellence.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic roles within enterprise technology, AI, or cloud environments.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale partnerships and strategic deals in global organizations.
- Deep expertise in enterprise SaaS, AI platforms, cloud ecosystems, or digital infrastructure.
- Strong experience in deal structuring, negotiation, and contract management.
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth through partnerships and strategic initiatives.
- Experience working in complex, matrixed, global organizations.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including understanding of pricing models, revenue structures, and ROI analysis.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.

- Align business development initiatives with product, sales, and marketing strategies to drive integrated growth.
- Contribute to corporate development initiatives, including M&A strategy and integration planning.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Package: $370,000 – $490,000 (base salary + executive bonus + significant equity participation)
