The IT Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in leading mission-critical IT operations, ensuring service reliability, and optimizing internal systems to support strategic business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage IT operations teams responsible for cloud infrastructure, enterprise applications, network systems, and end-user support.
  • Oversee incident management, system monitoring, and problem resolution to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Develop and implement IT operational strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all IT systems and services.
  • Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization across IT operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, and business units, to support IT initiatives.
  • Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor relationships for IT operations.
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster technical expertise, professional growth, and operational excellence.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, generate reports, and provide executive-level insights on system performance and operational risks.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in IT operations, enterprise infrastructure, or cloud services, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise networks, and IT service management.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks, IT security standards, and compliance regulations.
  • Experience managing large-scale IT projects, operations teams, and service delivery functions.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, monitoring platforms, and incident management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

  • Fully remote position with occasional travel (up to 10%) for meetings, team offsites, or executive planning sessions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation Package: $320,000 – $435,000 (base salary + performance bonus + potential equity)
