The Head of Business Development will serve as a key executive responsible for leading global growth initiatives, originating high-value opportunities, and executing strategic transactions. This individual will oversee the full business development lifecycle from market identification and relationship building to deal structuring and execution.

This role requires a leader with strong expertise in complex deal-making, cross-border partnerships, and capital-intensive industries, as well as the ability to operate at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations. You will work closely with executive leadership, investors, and partners to drive expansion and position the organization as a market leader in infrastructure and energy transition platforms.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead global business development strategy focused on growth, partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Identify and originate high-value opportunities across infrastructure, energy, and digital platforms.
  • Structure and negotiate complex deals, including joint ventures, acquisitions, and strategic alliances.
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee development of financial models, valuations, and investment proposals.
  • Manage end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence, negotiations, and closing processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development initiatives with operational capabilities.
  • Monitor global market trends, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing business development team across regions.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, investment, or corporate strategy roles.
  • Proven track record of executing large-scale, complex transactions and partnerships.
  • Experience in private equity, infrastructure, energy, or capital-intensive industries preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen, including valuation, financial modeling, and deal structuring.
  • Experience working in global markets and cross-border transactions.
  • Strong network within the investment, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation Package: $410,000 – $520,000 base + performance bonus + carried interest / equity participation
