The Director of Procurement will be responsible for leading global procurement strategy, supplier partnerships, and sourcing excellence. This executive will ensure the company maximizes value from supplier relationships, embeds ESG into sourcing, and leverages innovation to drive efficiency. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, this leader will play a critical role in balancing cost optimization, quality, and resilience while enabling long-term growth.
This is a high-visibility position designed for a strategic thinker with deep procurement expertise who thrives in multinational, fast-paced, and complex environments.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Global Procurement Leadership: Oversee procurement strategy across categories, including raw materials, technology, logistics, and professional services.

Supplier Partnerships: Build long-term strategic relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with performance, cost, and sustainability goals.

Value Creation: Optimize cost savings, improve quality, and enhance speed to market through world-class sourcing strategies.

Governance & Compliance: Ensure procurement activities adhere to global policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.

Innovation in Procurement: Champion digital procurement tools, AI-driven analytics, and supplier performance dashboards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Finance, ESG, and Technology leaders to integrate procurement with enterprise strategy.

Risk & Resilience: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while enhancing resilience and business continuity.

Qualifications – What We Are Looking For

15+ years of progressive leadership in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, including 7+ years in executive leadership.

Proven experience in Fortune 500 or multinational corporations, leading global procurement programs.

Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, supplier performance, and contract negotiations.

Expertise in digital procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, etc.) and AI-driven analytics.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Finance strongly preferred.

Excellent executive communication and influencing skills.

Deep understanding of ESG, sustainability, and ethical sourcing standards.

Financial acumen with experience managing multi-billion-dollar procurement budgets.
Strategic Support
The Director of Procurement serves as a strategic partner to the SVP of Operations, CFO, and Executive Leadership Team, ensuring procurement strategy is a value enabler. Key contributions include:
