The Director of E-commerce will play a central leadership role in driving global digital commerce strategy, owning end-to-end online revenue performance, customer acquisition, conversion optimization, and digital merchandising excellence. This role goes beyond traditional e-commerce management; it requires a leader who can operate at the intersection of brand, data, technology, and commercial strategy.

You will lead initiatives that directly impact top-line revenue growth, customer lifetime value, and global market expansion, while ensuring the platform delivers a premium, differentiated digital experience aligned with brand positioning. Working closely with marketing, product, technology, and operations teams, you will shape the future of our digital commerce ecosystem and position the organization as a market leader in next-generation e-commerce innovation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and lead global e-commerce P&L, revenue growth strategy, and digital performance optimization.
  • Develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value growth.
  • Oversee digital merchandising, product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
  • Drive conversion rate optimization through UX improvements, A/B testing, and personalization initiatives.
  • Lead performance marketing efforts across paid media, SEO, affiliate programs, and marketplace channels.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance platform capabilities, site speed, and user experience.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to monitor customer behavior, funnel performance, and revenue drivers.
  • Manage relationships with third-party marketplaces, technology vendors, and digital partners.
  • Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce, growth, and digital operations team.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital retail, or online marketplace leadership roles.
  • Proven success in managing high-revenue, large-scale e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, conversion optimization, and omnichannel commerce strategies.
  • Experience with leading platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce (Magento), or similar.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, BI tools, and data visualization platforms.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, personalization, and digital experience design.
