PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • National Sales Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.

  • Revenue Leadership: Drive revenue growth by leading regional and national sales teams, ensuring consistent achievement of performance targets.

  • Market Expansion: Develop strategies to capture new markets, expand product penetration, and increase customer acquisition.

  • Key Account Management: Strengthen partnerships with major retail, B2B, and enterprise accounts, positioning the company as a preferred partner.

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing sales leaders across regions, building a culture of accountability and excellence.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics, CRM systems, and predictive insights to inform pipeline development and performance tracking.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to align national sales strategies with corporate goals.

  • Executive Reporting: Provide performance updates, forecasts, and growth insights directly to the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors.

Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education, and Abilities

  • 18+ years of progressive sales leadership, with at least 7+ years in executive roles.

  • Proven success in consumer goods, retail, technology solutions, or Fortune 500 enterprises.

  • Expertise in national sales strategy, account management, and revenue growth.

  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, advanced analytics, and digital sales platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing; MBA preferred.

  • Exceptional executive presence with proven ability to influence C-suite leaders and Boards.

  • Demonstrated success leading multi-region or national sales teams in competitive markets.

Strategic Support

The Vice President of National Sales serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team, ensuring sales growth aligns with corporate vision. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on capital allocation for sales expansion, digital platforms, and distribution networks.
