The Sr. Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is a key strategic leader responsible for designing and advancing enterprise-wide DEI strategies that strengthen organisational culture, attract diverse talent, reinforce equitable practices, and enable a sense of belonging at every level. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of strategic vision, operational discipline, cultural intelligence, and executive presence.

This leader will partner across People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Operations, and executive leadership to embed DEI into business processes, leadership development, workforce planning, and organisational capability building. The role is ideal for an executive passionate about shaping inclusive workplaces within complex, global environments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the organisation’s long-term DEI strategy aligned with corporate goals, workforce needs, and cultural priorities.

  • Oversee enterprise-wide DEI programs, frameworks, and initiatives supporting representation, equity, development, and retention.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, and Leadership teams to strengthen equitable hiring practices, inclusive recruitment strategies, and diverse talent pipelines.

  • Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to design inclusive leadership programs, cultural intelligence training, and bias-reduction initiatives.

  • Lead the creation of DEI analytics dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting to track progress and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Advise executive leadership on DEI trends, emerging practices, and regulatory considerations.

  • Support employee resource groups (ERGs), affinity networks, and inclusion councils with structure, resources, and strategic alignment.

  • Partner with Communications to enhance internal storytelling, transparency, and community-building around DEI efforts.

  • Conduct audits on policies, processes, and systems to reinforce equitable and inclusive practices across the organisation.

  • Engage external partners, educational institutions, and strategic networks to expand diversity initiatives and community impact.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Diversity & Inclusion, People Strategy, Organizational Development, or HR Leadership roles.

  • Strong experience within technology, global operations, enterprise environments, or large-scale organisations.

  • Demonstrated success designing DEI strategies, change management initiatives, and measurable inclusion programs.

  • Strong understanding of workforce analytics, DEI metrics, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees in HR, Organizational Psychology, or related fields preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills with experience influencing senior executives.

  • Strong understanding of employment practices, inclusive leadership models, and cultural transformation frameworks.

  • Experience with global or matrixed organisations is a strong advantage.

Strategic Support

  • Serve as a senior advisor to the CHRO, CEO, and executive leadership on DEI strategy, workforce planning, and culture evolution.

  • Support organisational transformation initiatives by embedding inclusion into systems, leadership development, and operational practices.

  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams to strengthen equitable processes and performance management frameworks.

  • Provide insights on market trends, evolving DEI expectations, and global best practices.

  • Lead executive-level DEI reviews, strategic planning sessions, and culture assessments.


Working Conditions

  • Remote-first role within the United States with occasional travel for leadership meetings, culture summits, and enterprise workshops.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $355,000 – $415,000

  • Annual executive performance bonus
