PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Enterprise Sales Strategy: Drive new business development and expand existing relationships across Fortune 1000 accounts.

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain C-level relationships to position the company as a trusted strategic partner.

  • Revenue Growth: Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

  • Solution Selling: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to align solutions with client business challenges.

  • Pipeline Management: Own full-cycle sales execution from prospecting to closing multi-million-dollar deals.

  • Negotiation & Contracts: Lead complex contract negotiations, ensuring win-win outcomes for clients and the organization.

  • Market Insights: Provide feedback from the field to influence product development and go-to-market strategies.

  • Executive Reporting: Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business reviews to senior leadership.

Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education, and Abilities

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise sales, account management, or client strategy, with proven quota attainment.

  • Strong track record in technology, SaaS, or professional services sectors selling to Fortune 500 or global clients.

  • Expertise in solution-based selling, consultative engagement, and executive-level relationship management.

  • Proficiency with CRM and sales platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Strong executive presence with exceptional negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.

  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with global enterprises.

Strategic Support

The Senior Account Executive serves as a strategic partner to the CRO, CEO, and executive leadership team, ensuring client relationships directly drive enterprise growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising clients on strategic transformation initiatives that align with corporate vision.

  • Supporting cross-functional innovation projects by surfacing client insights for new product design.

  • Partnering with Finance and Operations to align contracts, pricing, and delivery models with enterprise profitability goals.

  • Providing foresight into market trends, competitive intelligence, and client opportunities that influence long-term strategy.

Working Conditions

  • Remote role with periodic travel to client sites, industry conferences, and executive summits.

  • Requires flexibility across time zones to manage global accounts and client relationships.
