We are seeking a highly analytical and strategically sophisticated Director of Corporate Development to lead strategic investment initiatives, mergers and acquisitions activity, and long-term corporate growth strategies. This role will work directly with executive leadership to evaluate strategic opportunities, execute acquisitions, and support long-term enterprise value creation.

This is not a transactional M&A role. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for shaping the company’s long-term growth trajectory.


Job Function

The Director of Corporate Development will lead the identification, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of strategic investments, acquisitions, and partnerships that support enterprise growth objectives.

This executive will drive the company’s M&A pipeline, strategic investment strategy, and corporate expansion initiatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of corporate growth strategies, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets aligned with long-term business and technology strategy.

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify strategic investment opportunities.

  • Build complex financial models and valuation frameworks supporting acquisition and investment decisions.

  • Lead due diligence processes across financial, operational, legal, and technology domains.

  • Structure and negotiate acquisition agreements, joint ventures, and strategic partnership deals.

  • Manage cross-functional deal teams involving finance, legal, product, and technology stakeholders.

  • Oversee post-acquisition integration planning to ensure successful operational alignment and value realization.

  • Develop executive-level presentations outlining strategic opportunities, financial impact, and risk assessments.

  • Maintain relationships with investment banks, venture capital firms, and corporate development partners.

  • Track industry consolidation trends and emerging technologies that may impact corporate strategy.

  • Support long-term capital allocation planning and strategic investment prioritization.

  • Present corporate development insights and deal recommendations to executive leadership and Board stakeholders.


Strategic Support

  • Advise the Chief Strategy Officer and executive leadership on long-term corporate growth strategy.

  • Support the expansion of the company’s global technology portfolio through strategic investments.

  • Contribute to corporate strategic planning and long-term market positioning initiatives.

  • Strengthen relationships with strategic partners, venture capital networks, and investment institutions.

  • Guide integration strategies, ensuring acquisitions deliver measurable financial and operational value.

  • Assist with investor relations and strategic communication regarding growth initiatives.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in corporate development, investment banking, strategy consulting, or private equity.

  • 7+ years of experience in technology, enterprise SaaS, artificial intelligence, or digital infrastructure sectors.

  • Demonstrated success leading complex mergers and acquisitions transactions and strategic investments.

  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring expertise.

  • Experience managing due diligence processes across multiple business functions.

  • Proven ability to work closely with executive leadership and Board stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology markets and innovation trends.

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline; MBA strongly preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote – United States

  • Frequent domestic and international travel for acquisition meetings, investor discussions, and executive strategy sessions (30–40%)

  • High-accountability role tied to strategic investment performance and acquisition outcomes

  • Collaboration across global cross-functional teams and external financial advisors


Compensation & Benefits

Total Executive Compensation Package: $355,000 – $437,000 USD
