As Director of Sales and Supply Chain Planning, you will play a pivotal role in aligning sales forecasts with supply capabilities, ensuring the organization meets growth targets while delivering operational excellence at scale.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Sales & Supply Chain Alignment: Lead integrated planning processes that synchronize sales forecasts with supply chain operations.

  • Demand Planning: Oversee demand forecasting and scenario planning to anticipate customer needs and market trends.

  • Inventory Optimization: Ensure optimal inventory levels across global regions, balancing cost efficiency with customer service.

  • Collaboration with Sales & Operations: Partner with commercial teams to align sales strategies with production and distribution capabilities.

  • Technology Integration: Drive adoption of advanced planning systems (APS), ERP, and AI-driven forecasting tools.

  • Risk & Contingency Planning: Develop strategies for mitigating supply disruptions, economic volatility, and logistical challenges.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Build strong partnerships with Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics leaders.

  • Executive Reporting: Present forecasts, KPIs, and planning insights directly to the COO, CFO, and Board of Directors.

Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education, and Abilities

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in Sales Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations, with at least 7+ years in senior executive roles.

  • Proven success in consumer goods, global manufacturing, or Fortune 500 enterprises.

  • Expertise in demand planning, S&OP, supply chain forecasting, and sales operations.

  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), APS platforms, and data analytics tools.

  • An advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business, or MBA is preferred.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with demonstrated success in influencing C-suite stakeholders.

  • Experience leading global, cross-functional teams in complex, fast-paced environments.

Strategic Support

The Director of Sales and Supply Chain Planning serves as a strategic partner to the COO, CFO, and executive leadership team, ensuring sales and operations remain tightly aligned to enable growth. Key contributions include:

  • Advising on capital allocation for inventory, systems, and distribution investments.

  • Supporting M&A integration by aligning new entities with existing sales and supply chain frameworks.

  • Partnering with Technology and Operations leaders to drive digital supply chain transformation.

  • Embedding ESG commitments by ensuring sustainable and ethical supply chain practices.

Working Conditions

  • Remote role with periodic travel to manufacturing sites, distribution centers, and executive leadership summits.

  • Requires flexibility across international time zones to support global operations.

  • High-visibility executive role with full accountability for sales and supply chain planning outcomes.

  • Operates in a fast-paced, complex environment requiring foresight, agility, and precise execution.
