The Vice President of Operations will serve as a key executive leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing global operations across manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery systems. This individual will drive initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, compliance, and performance, ensuring alignment with both regulatory requirements and business objectives.
This role requires a leader with deep experience in complex, regulated environments, capable of balancing strategic oversight with operational execution. You will partner closely with executive leadership, regulatory teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive transformation and ensure operational excellence at scale.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and execute global operations strategy across manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution functions.
- Oversee performance of production facilities, logistics networks, and operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality systems, and industry requirements.
- Drive operational excellence through process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement data-driven frameworks for performance tracking, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Manage operational budgets, cost structures, and efficiency improvement programs.
- Collaborate with R&D and commercial teams to align production and supply with demand.
- Lead risk management and contingency planning for operational disruptions and supply chain challenges.
- Build and lead high-performing global operations teams and regional leadership.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in operations leadership within healthcare, biotech, or regulated industries.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, global operations in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (FDA, EMA, GMP) and quality systems.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and supply chain optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational transformation and efficiency at scale.
- Experience leading multi-regional teams and cross-functional organizations.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Package: $359,000 – $495,000 base + performance bonus + long-term equity incentives
