The Director of Ecommerce will play a pivotal role in leading our global digital commerce strategy, overseeing platform performance, and driving revenue growth across all online channels. This role requires a leader who can blend strategic vision, operational execution, and deep understanding of digital consumer behavior.
You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, technology, and supply chain teams to ensure that our ecommerce ecosystem is optimized for growth, scalability, and exceptional customer experience. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct responsibility for digital revenue, conversion performance, and customer engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of global ecommerce strategy across DTC and marketplace channels.
- Oversee performance of digital platforms, focusing on traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
- Drive optimization initiatives including UX/UI enhancements, site performance, and checkout experience improvements.
- Manage digital merchandising, product assortment, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align acquisition, retention, and personalization strategies.
- Leverage data analytics to identify customer behavior trends and growth opportunities.
- Oversee relationships with third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, regional platforms).
- Implement and scale AI-driven personalization and recommendation engines.
- Ensure seamless integration between ecommerce, supply chain, and inventory management systems.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10–15+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, or omnichannel retail leadership roles.
- Proven track record of driving significant online revenue growth and platform optimization.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms such as Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar.
- Experience with analytics tools including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or BI platforms.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels, SEO/SEM, and performance marketing strategies.
- Experience managing global ecommerce operations and marketplace partnerships.
