We are seeking a Vice President of Financial Operations to lead and transform global financial operations across the enterprise. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this executive will oversee transaction processing, financial reporting operations, reconciliation, compliance, and operational finance functions, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.

The VP will play a critical role in optimizing financial processes, strengthening governance, and enabling the organization to scale its operations while maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee global financial operations, including transaction processing, reconciliations, settlements, and financial reporting operations.

• Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and automation across financial processes.

• Implement and optimize real-time financial systems, automation tools, and AI-driven analytics platforms.

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across high-volume transaction environments.

• Oversee global reconciliation processes, ensuring timely and accurate matching of transactions across multiple systems and platforms.

• Manage operational aspects of financial reporting, supporting compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory standards.

• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes.

• Partner with technology teams to integrate financial systems with payment platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost optimization, process standardization, and operational excellence.

• Oversee compliance with financial regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML), fraud prevention, and data protection requirements.

• Manage relationships with banks, payment networks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

• Lead and develop global teams across financial operations, shared services, and regional finance functions.

• Provide executive-level reporting and insights to the CFO, CEO, and board.

• Support strategic initiatives, including market expansion, product launches, and operational scaling.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced qualification strongly preferred.

• 15–20+ years of progressive experience in financial operations, finance leadership, or transaction-based financial environments.

• Proven experience within fintech, financial services, payments, or high-volume transaction industries.

• Strong expertise in financial operations, reconciliations, and transaction processing at scale.

• Experience implementing automation, AI-driven analytics, and digital finance transformation initiatives.

• Deep understanding of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.

• Experience managing global financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.

• Strong financial acumen with experience managing large operational budgets and cost optimization initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional teams and influence executive stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Package: $390,000 – $500,000
