We are seeking a Director of Logistics to lead regional and national logistics operations, drive operational excellence, and implement innovative strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. This role will oversee a complex network of logistics operations and play a critical role in supporting the company’s growth and service delivery objectives.

The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams across supply chain, technology, and commercial operations to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement across all logistics functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and last-mile delivery.

• Develop and execute logistics strategies that align with business growth, customer expectations, and operational efficiency goals.

• Manage large-scale logistics networks, ensuring optimal route planning, inventory flow, and delivery performance.

• Drive operational excellence through the implementation of automation, process optimization, and advanced logistics technologies.

• Oversee relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and distribution partners.

• Implement data-driven decision-making frameworks to monitor KPIs such as delivery times, cost efficiency, and service levels.

• Lead initiatives to improve last-mile delivery performance and customer experience.

• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental sustainability requirements.

• Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize inventory management and distribution strategies.

• Manage logistics budgets, cost control initiatives, and capital investments.

• Lead cross-functional projects focused on network expansion, facility optimization, and capacity planning.

• Develop and mentor logistics leadership teams across multiple regions.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

• MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

• 12–18+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or distribution management.

• Proven experience managing large-scale logistics networks within e-commerce, retail, or high-volume distribution environments.

• Strong expertise in transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and logistics analytics tools.

• Experience leading multi-site operations and managing third-party logistics providers.

• Deep understanding of last-mile delivery models, route optimization, and supply chain efficiency strategies.

• Strong financial acumen with experience managing logistics budgets and cost optimization initiatives.

• Experience implementing automation, robotics, or digital transformation within logistics operations.

• Proven ability to lead large teams and drive operational performance improvements.
