We are seeking an experienced Director of Warehouse Operations to lead multi-site warehouse facilities, optimize fulfillment performance, and drive operational excellence across our national distribution network.

This role is not simply about managing warehouse activity. It is about designing and leading highly efficient distribution operations that support one of the most advanced logistics ecosystems in the global e-commerce industry.

Job Function

The Director of Warehouse Operations will oversee multi-site warehouse operations, distribution center performance, inventory management systems, and workforce operations within the company’s national fulfillment network.

This executive will ensure that warehouse operations achieve high standards of safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead operational oversight of multiple warehouse and distribution facilities across the organization’s logistics network.

• Develop and implement operational strategies that improve warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and fulfillment speed.

• Manage high-volume warehouse operations supporting inbound inventory, storage management, order fulfillment, and outbound distribution.

• Oversee workforce management across warehouse teams, including supervisors, operations managers, and logistics staff.

• Implement warehouse automation technologies, including robotics systems, conveyor networks, and automated storage systems.

• Monitor operational performance metrics, including order processing speed, inventory accuracy, and fulfillment efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and operational risk management standards.

• Develop performance dashboards tracking operational KPIs and facility productivity metrics.

• Coordinate closely with supply chain, procurement, and transportation teams to maintain efficient product flow.

• Optimize warehouse layouts, storage strategies, and inventory management processes.

• Manage vendor relationships with logistics partners, equipment providers, and warehouse technology vendors.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and reducing operational costs.

• Present operational performance updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse operations, logistics management, or distribution center operations.

• Experience managing large-scale warehouse environments within e-commerce, retail distribution, logistics, or supply chain industries.

• Demonstrated success managing multi-site distribution networks or high-volume fulfillment operations.

• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, and automation technologies.

• Experience implementing robotics systems or automated warehouse solutions preferred.

• Proven ability to lead large operational teams and drive performance improvements.

• Strong analytical capability to interpret operational data and optimize warehouse performance.

• Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline; MBA preferred.

• Strengthen supply chain integration between warehouse, transportation, and procurement operations.

• Assist with the expansion of new distribution centers and logistics infrastructure.

• Contribute operational insights to enterprise logistics planning and supply chain optimization initiatives.

Working Conditions

• A hybrid work environment involving both warehouse facility operations and corporate planning responsibilities

• Regular travel between distribution centers and logistics facilities (25–35%)

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Package: $355,000 – $420,000 USD
