We are seeking a visionary and performance-oriented Director of Learning & Development to architect enterprise learning strategy, leadership development programs, technical upskilling frameworks, and scalable talent capability infrastructure, fully remote within the United States.
This is not a training coordination role. This is a strategic workforce transformation mandate.
Job Function
The Director of Learning & Development will lead enterprise-wide learning architecture across technical capability building, executive leadership development, digital learning systems, succession planning integration, and culture-based performance enhancement initiatives.
This leader ensures measurable workforce capability growth aligned with long-term business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design and execute a multi-year enterprise learning and development strategy aligned with business growth priorities

Architect scalable technical upskilling programs for AI, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and data science teams

Develop executive and emerging leadership development frameworks

Implement enterprise-wide competency models and career progression pathways

Oversee digital learning platforms and LMS governance

Align performance management processes with learning architecture

Establish KPIs measuring learning effectiveness, leadership readiness, and skill adoption

Lead succession planning integration in partnership with Talent and HR leadership

Manage learning budget allocation and ROI measurement frameworks

Guide global onboarding transformation and new-hire ramp optimization

Present workforce capability analytics and development impact reports to executive leadership

Lead distributed learning and organizational development teams
Strategic Support

Advise Chief Talent Officer and executive leadership on long-term workforce capability strategy

Support global expansion initiatives through scalable learning frameworks

Contribute to M&A integration by aligning newly acquired teams to enterprise capability models

Strengthen employer brand positioning through talent development excellence

Align learning initiatives with ESG and workforce sustainability objectives

Guide digital transformation initiatives across internal knowledge platforms
Job Qualifications and Requirements

15+ years of progressive learning and organizational development leadership experience
-
7+ years within enterprise technology, SaaS, AI, or high-growth innovation environments

Proven experience designing enterprise-level leadership development and technical learning programs

Strong expertise in digital learning systems and LMS platforms

Demonstrated success scaling L&D initiatives across distributed global teams

Experience presenting workforce analytics and capability strategy to executive leadership

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Organizational Development, Business, or HR preferred

Compensation & Benefits
Total Executive Compensation Package: $250,000 – $380,000 USD
