Job Description
About the Company
We are a global hyperscale cloud and AI infrastructure provider powering mission-critical workloads for Fortune 100 enterprises, sovereign governments, financial institutions, and next-generation AI platforms. Our infrastructure supports exabyte-scale data flows, ultra-low latency compute clusters, and multi-region high-availability architectures across 60+ data centers worldwide.
As AI training clusters, real-time financial systems, and autonomous platforms demand near-zero downtime and deterministic network performance, our backbone architecture must operate at unprecedented scale, speed, and security.
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, optimize, and future-proof the high-performance global network fabric that supports next-generation AI workloads, advanced edge computing, and hyperscale cloud services.
This is not an operations-only role. This is a deep technical architecture and scale engineering position.
Job Function
The Senior Network Engineer will lead the design, implementation, automation, and optimization of multi-region, multi-terabit global network infrastructure supporting AI clusters, private cloud environments, and mission-critical enterprise services.
The role requires deep expertise in routing protocols, data center spine-leaf architectures, automation frameworks, network security segmentation, and high-availability design at a global scale.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-
Architect and deploy high-throughput spine-leaf data center network fabrics (100G/400G/800G environments)
-
Design multi-region global backbone connectivity with ultra-low latency SLAs
-
Lead BGP, OSPF, EVPN-VXLAN, and MPLS architecture and optimization initiatives
-
Engineer deterministic network performance for AI/ML compute clusters
-
Develop infrastructure-as-code network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform
-
Implement zero-trust segmentation and secure east-west traffic models
-
Optimize traffic engineering and routing convergence strategies
-
Lead network capacity planning and growth forecasting for multi-exabyte traffic environments
-
Conduct failure-domain analysis and implement high-availability redundancy strategies
-
Integrate DDoS mitigation and advanced network security frameworks
-
Partner with Cloud Engineering, SRE, and Security teams on platform reliability
-
Lead incident response for critical network events and root cause analysis
-
Evaluate next-gen networking technologies (SRv6, 800G optics, programmable fabrics)
Strategic Support
-
Contribute to long-term global infrastructure roadmap planning
