About the Role

In complex, highly regulated organizations, compliance is no longer about policy enforcement alone; it is a strategic capability that protects the enterprise, enables growth, and reinforces trust with regulators, customers, and partners. We are seeking a Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen compliance programs across a large, multi-business enterprise operating in a dynamic regulatory environment.

This role is designed for a compliance professional who understands how to embed regulatory requirements into daily operations without slowing the business. The Compliance Manager will oversee regulatory compliance frameworks, monitor adherence across business units, and partner with leadership to proactively manage risk.

You will play a highly visible role working across Legal, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Technology to ensure compliance obligations are met, documented, and continuously improved. Your mandate is to move compliance beyond reactive controls into a forward-looking, risk-aware operating discipline that supports enterprise resilience and sustainable growth.

This is not a checklist-driven role. It is a mandate to build compliance as a trusted advisory and governance function at enterprise scale.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage enterprise compliance programs aligned with regulatory and internal requirements.

  • Interpret and implement laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance applicable to the business.

  • Conduct compliance risk assessments, monitoring, and testing activities.

  • Develop, update, and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and controls.

  • Partner with business leaders to embed compliance into operational processes.

  • Manage regulatory inquiries, audits, and examinations.

  • Identify compliance gaps and drive corrective action plans.

  • Provide compliance training and guidance to employees and leadership.

  • Prepare executive-level compliance reports, dashboards, and risk summaries.

  • Monitor regulatory change and assess enterprise impact proactively.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory roles.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to financial services or regulated enterprises.

  • Experience managing compliance programs across multiple business units.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certification (CRC, CAMS, CPA, JD, etc.) preferred.

  • Support enterprise risk management and governance initiatives.

  • Partner with Legal and Risk teams on regulatory strategy and oversight.

  • Support M&A due diligence and compliance integration efforts.

  • Collaborate with Technology on compliance automation and monitoring tools.

  • Provide leadership with insight into emerging regulatory risks and trends.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $130,000 – $247,000
