About the Role
In large, complex organizations, project management is not about timelines alone; it is the discipline that converts strategy into execution. We are seeking a Director of Project Management to lead enterprise-wide project and program delivery across a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives, technology transformations, and operational improvements.
This role is designed for a senior leader who understands how to govern, scale, and professionalize project execution at the enterprise level. The Director of Project Management will oversee the project management function, define delivery standards, and ensure that critical initiatives are executed with consistency, accountability, and measurable business impact.
You will partner closely with executive leadership, business unit heads, and technology teams to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and remove delivery obstacles. Your mandate is to create clarity, predictability, and transparency across a complex project portfolio—ensuring that strategic priorities translate into real outcomes.
This is not a delivery-only role. It is a mandate to build project management as a strategic enterprise capability, one that drives execution discipline, risk management, and value realization at scale.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Define and lead enterprise project management strategy and operating model.

Oversee a portfolio of large-scale, cross-functional projects and programs.

Establish governance frameworks, delivery standards, and reporting cadence.

Partner with executive leadership to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources.

Drive consistency in project planning, execution, and risk management.

Ensure projects deliver against scope, schedule, budget, and business outcomes.

Implement portfolio management tools, dashboards, and performance metrics.

Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks.

Lead executive-level project reviews and escalation management.

Build, mentor, and lead high-performing project management teams.
Job Qualifications and Requirements

12–15+ years of experience in project or program management leadership roles.

Proven success leading enterprise-scale project portfolios in complex environments.

Strong experience with PMOs, portfolio management, and delivery governance.

Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives.

Experience partnering with senior executives and business leaders.

PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
