Job Description

About the Role

At enterprise scale, regional leadership is where strategy becomes reality. We are seeking a Regional Director to lead performance, growth, and operational excellence across a large, multi-location region within a global, technology-enabled organization.

This role is designed for a senior leader who can balance commercial accountability with people leadership, ensuring that corporate strategy is executed consistently while remaining responsive to local market dynamics. The Regional Director will own regional performance end-to-end, spanning revenue growth, operational execution, customer experience, talent leadership, and cost discipline.

You will serve as the connective tissue between headquarters strategy and frontline execution, translating enterprise priorities into clear regional plans while elevating insights from the field back into leadership decision-making. The role requires strong judgment, the ability to lead leaders, and comfort operating in complex, matrixed environments.

This is not a site-management role. It is a mandate to build a high-performing region, develop leadership depth, and deliver measurable results at scale while shaping how the enterprise competes and grows in your markets.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to inform regional strategy.

  • Identify growth opportunities and lead initiatives to expand market share and profitability.

  • Establish performance management rhythms, reviews, and accountability frameworks.

  • Represent the region internally with executive leadership and externally with key customers and partners.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in regional, multi-site, or multi-market roles.

  • Proven track record of leading large teams and delivering results across geographically distributed operations.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and performance targets.

  • Experience operating within large, matrixed enterprise environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to align frontline execution with corporate strategy.

  • Strong change-management and leadership-development experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Personal Capabilities and Qualifications

  • Strategic, results-oriented leader with strong execution discipline.

  • Confident executive presence with the ability to influence across levels.

  • Highly analytical with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Strong people leader who builds trust, accountability, and engagement.

  • Adaptable and resilient in fast-changing, high-pressure environments.

  • Clear communicator who aligns teams around shared goals and outcomes.

Strategic Support

  • Serve as a key contributor to enterprise strategy by providing regional insights and performance data.

  • Support national growth initiatives, transformation programs, and operating-model evolution.

  • Partner with executive leadership on capacity planning, investment decisions, and market expansion.

  • Support M&A integration or regional restructuring initiatives when applicable.

  • Act as a cultural ambassador, reinforcing enterprise values and leadership standards.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid leadership role with regular presence across regional locations.

  • Frequent collaboration with corporate leadership and cross-functional partners.
