Job Description
About the Role
Data has become one of the most critical enterprise assets powering decision-making, enabling AI, shaping customer experience, and defining competitive advantage. We are seeking a Chief Data Officer (CDO) to lead the strategic stewardship, governance, and monetization of data across a large, complex global organization.
This role is built for a senior executive who understands that modern data leadership goes far beyond platforms and pipelines. The Chief Data Officer will be responsible for transforming fragmented data environments into a cohesive, enterprise-wide data ecosystem, one that is trusted, governed, secure, and engineered to fuel analytics, AI, automation, and business innovation at scale.
The CDO will partner closely with the CEO, CIO, CTO, CISO, CFO, and business leaders to align data strategy with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements, and growth priorities. This includes leading data governance, master data management, analytics enablement, AI readiness, and enterprise data literacy.
The role carries board-level visibility and accountability, with a mandate to unlock measurable value from data while ensuring ethical use, compliance, and resilience.
This is a rare opportunity to define how data operates as a core enterprise capability, shaping strategy, culture, and execution across the organization for years to come.
