Our operations function plays a central role in driving performance, improving efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring that strategic priorities are translated into measurable outcomes.

The Senior Director of Operations leads high-performing teams and oversees mission-critical operational functions across multiple business units. This role requires a leader who excels in both strategy and execution—someone who can design future-state systems while ensuring operational continuity and excellence today.

This position is ideal for an operations executive who thrives in fast-changing environments, understands technology-led operations, and brings a structured, data-driven approach to decision-making, process optimisation, and organisational alignment.

  • Establish operational KPIs, dashboards, performance measurement frameworks, and reporting systems.

  • Partner with Technology, Product, Finance, and Customer teams to enable strategic execution and operational readiness.

  • Drive governance programs including resource planning, workflow standardisation, risk assessments, and service delivery models.

  • Support operational planning cycles, budget reviews, cost controls, and forecasting activities.

  • Strong background in technology environments, SaaS operations, enterprise platforms, or digital service ecosystems.

  • Proven ability to manage complex operational structures across multiple functions.

  • Expertise in process optimisation, digital transformation, and operational performance management.

  • Strong financial understanding including cost optimisation, budgeting, and ROI analysis.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience working closely with senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through operational change and transformation efforts.

Personal Capabilities and Qualifications

  • Strategic mindset with strong operational execution skills.

  • Highly analytical, structured, and comfortable making data-driven decisions.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide, influence, and unify teams.

  • Skilled problem-solver able to manage complexity and competing priorities.

  • Adaptable, resilient, and capable of navigating fast-paced environments.

  • Empathetic leader who invests in talent development and team performance.

Strategic Support

  • Partner with executive leadership to shape long-range operational priorities and organisational goals.

  • Provide input into enterprise planning, investment decisions, resource allocation, and capability building.

  • Support transformation initiatives including workflow redesign, technology adoption, and large-scale operational enhancements.

  • Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic reviews, operational assessments, and performance evaluation cycles.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on operational risks, opportunities, and readiness.

Working Conditions

  • Remote-first role based in the United States with occasional travel for operations reviews, leadership summits, and cross-functional workshops.

  • Requires collaboration across distributed teams, multiple business units, and senior-level stakeholders.
