The Director of Business Strategy serves as a key partner to executive leadership—leading strategic planning cycles, evaluating market opportunities, driving transformation programs, and translating vision into actionable plans. This position requires a structured thinker with deep analytical capability, strong commercial understanding, and the ability to influence decisions at the highest level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise strategy development, including multi-year planning, priority setting, and organizational alignment.

  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and diversification.

  • Develop strategic frameworks, business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to support executive decision-making.

  • Partner with leaders across Technology, Product, Operations, and Finance to support major strategic initiatives.

  • Guide cross-functional teams through strategic programs, ensuring alignment between business needs and execution plans.

  • Lead strategic reviews, portfolio assessments, and investment allocation analyses.

  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory landscapes to anticipate future opportunities.

  • Prepare executive presentations, board updates, and strategic communications.

  • Support corporate transformation efforts including operational modernization, digital acceleration, and customer experience enhancements.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor on organisation-wide initiatives, identifying risks, dependencies, and long-term implications.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, Business Planning, or Corporate Development.

  • Experience within technology, SaaS, digital innovation, enterprise platforms, or large-scale operations.

  • Advanced conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations.

  • Strong financial modeling, business case development, and forecasting skills.

  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex concepts clearly.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with enterprise-wide impact.

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and commercial strategy.

Strategic Support

  • Advise the COO, CFO, CTO, and CEO on strategy development, market evaluation, and long-term opportunity identification.

  • Support enterprise transformation programs, including operational optimisation, digital strategy, and organisation design.

  • Partner with Finance to strengthen forecasting, performance tracking, and investment decisions.

  • Support mergers, partnerships, or expansion assessments when aligned with organisational priorities.

  • Lead enterprise-wide workshops, strategic planning sessions, and scenario planning exercises.


Working Conditions

  • Remote-first role based in the United States, with occasional travel for executive meetings, strategic workshops, or planning sessions.

  • Requires collaboration across distributed teams and alignment with multiple time zones.

  • High-expectation environment with ownership of critical strategic outcomes and executive-level visibility.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $312,000 – $385,000

  • Annual performance-based bonus
