The Vice President of Corporate Development plays a pivotal leadership role in evaluating inorganic growth opportunities, driving acquisition strategy, strengthening partnerships, and supporting strategic execution. This position requires a seasoned strategist with exceptional analytical capabilities, transaction leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate across finance, product, technology, operations, and executive leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of corporate development initiatives, including sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and integrating acquisition targets.

Conduct financial modeling, valuation assessments, scenario analyses, and commercial reviews for potential investments.

Assess markets, emerging technologies, competitive landscapes, and industry trends to identify strategic opportunities.

Oversee due diligence processes, coordinating across legal, finance, product, and operations teams.

Develop clear business cases, growth projections, and strategic rationale for executive approval.

Establish frameworks for partnership evaluations, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.

Maintain an active pipeline of acquisition and investment targets aligned with corporate priorities.

Partner with senior leadership to refine long-term strategy, capital allocation plans, and expansion roadmaps.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

12+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, or Private Equity.

Proven track record leading M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, or large-scale commercial negotiations.

Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.

Experience within technology, SaaS, enterprise software, digital platforms, or related innovation-driven industries.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.

Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership and boards.
